Rev. Jesse Larson led today’s service, the fifth Sunday in the season of Lent. The focus of the service was on remembering and regret. Today’s scripture passage, read by Mary Harbison, was Psalm 137:1-6. Communion was served and the monthly collection of canned and packaged goods for the SSIP Food Closet were accepted. SSIP Food Closet Executive Director Simon Yeh attended today’s service and was introduced to the congregation.
Music was provided by pianist Natalya Amelchenko and soloist Barbara Greene. Barbara sang “There Is a Redeemer.”
