Bethany elder Jim Guida fills in today—Transfiguration Sunday—for vacationing Rev. Jesse Larson. His message tells of the occasion Jesus took disciples Peter, James and John with him up a high mountain—where God spoke and revealed that Jesus was, indeed, the Messiah. Before their eyes, Jesus was transfigured into a holy being. Today’s bible readings are 2 Kings 2 and Mark 9:2-9. Dr. May Tuan Tucker presents several beautiful musical pieces.
