Join your Bethany friends and family at the annual “Full Plates, Full Hearts” auction and ice cream social on Friday, June 7, held in Bethany’s Social Hall 4-6 p.m. The event benefits the SSIP Food Closet.
This year, churches in the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership—of which Bethany is a member—will return to holding a live, in-person Ash Wednesday service.
It’s happening Wednesday, February 22, starting 7 p.m., at the Sacramento Japanese United Methodist Church, 6929 Franklin Blvd. (about 2.5 miles southeast of Bethany).
Bethany is again organizing its Hot Cocoa Ministry, a service benefiting the SSIP Food Closet. You can help serve breakfast beverages and treats on Tuesday, November 22 and/or help with baking goodies Monday, November 21.
Bethany is hosting a volunteer work morning at the SSIP Food Closet on Monday, October 31.
The original works and eclectic collections of two dozen people will be on display the afternoon of Sunday, October 14. This second annual showing of “The Stuff of Story” is sponsored by The Gathering. Come and check out this fun, all-ages event! Free admission and free refreshments! Donations of canned goods for the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet will be greatly appreciated at the door.
