Several Bethany members traipsed the Cosumnes River Preserve on Saturday, February 3, at the church’s annual “Winter Wander” nature walk. Refreshments served in true “tailgate party” style rounded out the morning. The group experienced the flight and landing of hundreds of sandhill cranes—quite the sight. Many thanks to Bethany’s Bob Jensen, who serves as a docent at the preserve; Bob gave helpful bird-watching tips and showed participants around.
