The 264th birthday of esteemed Scottish poet Robert Burns was celebrated at Bethany Saturday, January 28. Several Bethany members are affiliated with Kilwinning Lodge #203, Daughters of Scotia, which hosted the afternoon event. Scotland-born singer Peter Daldry performed before a crowd of close to 100, and traditional Scottish foods such as shortbread, scones (and yes, haggis!) were served.
