What a wild (and wildly successful!) day October 30 was! More than 1,500 local children and parents came to Bethany for Halloween activities including “Trunk or Treat” (trick or treating) at over a dozen decorated cars in the parking lot. A jump house, crafts, drummer, music, non-scary haunted house and other fun things joyfully occupied the kids … along with free dinner and free books. Many, many thanks go to organizer Candace Keefauver and her volunteer crew … plus the owners of cars from both Bethany and Grace churches, and to SSIP Food Closet volunteers who staffed an information table.
