Many Bethany members and friends know former church deacon Gary Gardner, who relocated to Hawaii in 2020. Now retired, Gary spends his days surfing and keeping up with his songwriting. His original tune “Happy is Christmas” was used in Bethany’s 2020 Christmas Eve video. His songs are professionally recorded by singers, musicians and sound artists in New York.
