Enhancing the Worship Experience
through Church Decor
Bethany’s communion table traditionally holds the chalice (cup), pitcher and plate of bread to remind us of the Last Supper and Jesus’s sacrifice of his life to save ours. It also holds a bible and a candle. Depending on the time of year, the sermon topic or an upcoming holiday or observance, the table will feature additional items.
Decorations are chosen to help reinforce the message and enhance the worship experience. Here’s a gallery showing the special decor of worship services.
