Join award-winning activist duo Emma’s Revolution and folk performer Annie Patterson—co-creator of the popular songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again—for an concert celebrating hope and harmony Sunday, January 28, starting 7 p.m. at Bethany.
The concert—held in commemoration of acclaimed folksinger/composer Pete Seeger’s 100th birthday—will feature tunes Seeger wrote or performed along with new musical selections. Many of the songs are included in a new Seeger sing-along songbook— If I Had a Hammer. Pete Seeger was one of the great song leaders of all time, igniting the hearts of those who sang with him.
