Hunger Walk in Honor of Bethany’s 100th Anniversary
A small team of Bethany members walked a historic path Sunday, January 11, 2015, retracing the route that the church building traveled in 1955 (on a huge trailer) to its current location. (Bethany’s original Oak Park site had become earmarked for freeway construction.) The 2.7 mile distance earned the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet several hundred dollars in pledges.
