The church is governed by a board of elected elders, called "the Session." Session is moderated by the pastor of the church, and includes a clerk who keeps records of all the meetings.
Elders are elected to serve designated terms of office and they oversee the work of various “commissions” (committees) comprised of other church volunteers. Elders are ordained to their office during a worship service.
