Bethany provided cookies, cake and freshly baked brownies to the several dozen SSIP Food Closet volunteers on Tuesday, November 21—one of the busiest days of the year for the Food Closet. Howard McMackin made coffee and tea, and the Medina boys (Alex and Jaxon) with Grandma Cathy Sapunor helped make cocoa. Many thanks to Jackie Sneed for helping prep and serve and to Sammie Fernandez and Kathy Frank for donating goodies and cocoa! SSIP Director Simon Yeh reported that close to 800 families were served the day before, so refreshments for these hard-working volunteers were welcomed! Thank you to all Bethany members and friends who continue to support the Food Closet financially and/or with volunteer hours and prayers.
