Bethany Members Celebrate Four Birthdays! • January 22, 2023

In a congregation as small as Bethany’s, what are the chances that not two, but FOUR, members share the same birthday? It happens every year on January 20—the joint birthdays of twins Bob Betts and Dodie (Bett)s Elswood, Jim Guida and Jackie Sneed. The joint birthdays were celebrated with cake and goodies after the January 22, 2023, morning worship service. Adding to the festivities were decorations in the Social Hall in observance of Tet (Lunar New Year), prepared by members of Grace Community Church. Many Betts family members and friends were on hand to congratulate 92-year-old Bob in person (and sister Dodie, at home due to illness, via a live video feed).
